After much hesitation, I finally started my much discussed, but non-existent, blog. I'm hoping that this place will allow me to comment on all my popular cultural passions through a distinctive feminist lens. I also believe that this type of publishing is the academic wave of the future, and will also FORCE me to write my ideas while I have them in some logical and coherent format. So, as most of my obsessions are visual, I thought this first post should contain a haunting image of a woman, in a vast space, with an uncertain vanishing point. This haunting image epitomizes some of the topics and concerns of this site, for my passionate attachments to feminist film theory, horror films, and all sorts of dark ephemera will be highlighted.
